After arriving at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport by plane, I took the 197 bus to the city center and checked into my hotel.
I was excited to explore the city, and I started by walking around the Jordaan neighborhood. The Jordaan is a charming canal district with narrow streets, beautiful canal houses, and many cafés and restaurants.
I had lunch at a canalside restaurant and enjoyed the view of the boats passing by. In the afternoon, I visited the Anne Frank House, a museum dedicated to the life of Anne Frank, a young Jewish girl who hid from the Nazis during World War II.
I was moved by the story of Anne Frank and her family, and I found the museum to be very well done. I also visited the Rijksmuseum, a large museum with a vast collection of Dutch art.
The museum was very impressive, and I enjoyed seeing the paintings of famous Dutch artists such as Rembrandt and Vermeer. I also visited the Van Gogh Museum, which is home to the largest collection of Van Gogh’s work.
The Van Gogh Museum was another highlight of my trip, and I was able to see many of Van Gogh’s most famous paintings, such as “Starry Night” and “Sunflowers.”
In the evening, I had dinner at a traditional Dutch restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal of herring and frites. I also took a canal cruise, which was a great way to see the city from a different perspective.
On my last day in Amsterdam, I visited the Heineken Experience, a museum dedicated to the history of Heineken beer.
Here is a possible itinerary for a 3-day business trip to Amsterdam, Netherland
